Cookie policy
Questions: hola@estibra.com · Legal notices: legal@estibra.com
1. The short version
A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser so it can remember something. Our public website uses none. Your client panel uses one, so it can remember that you are logged in. That is the whole story today. If we ever add anything else, it goes in section 4 and you get a real choice before it runs.
2. What we use today
| Cookie | Where | What it does | How long it lasts | Can you refuse it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Your client panel (for example acme.estibra.com) | Keeps you logged in as you move between pages, and protects the form you submit from being forged by another site | Until you log out or close the browser | No — without it, logging in does not work |
| Cookie choice | estibra.com, only if we ever add analytics | Remembers whether you said yes or no to analytics, so we stop asking | 12 months | Yes |
These are called necessary cookies. They do not follow you to other websites and they do not build a profile of you.
3. What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking, no retargeting, no pixels from social networks.
- No selling of anything a cookie collects.
- No third-party analytics on the public website as of the date at the top of this page.
4. If we add analytics later
If we decide we need to know which pages people read, we will do it like this, and we will update this page before it goes live:
- We will name the tool here, say what it measures, and say how long it keeps the data.
- Analytics will be off until you turn it on. The banner will have a real “no”, not only an “accept”.
- Saying no will not break anything on the site.
- We will choose a tool that does not use the data for advertising.
5. How to control cookies yourself
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies from its settings — usually under Privacy or Site settings. If you block the session cookie, the public website still works, but the client panel cannot keep you logged in.
6. The local agent is not a cookie
Estibra installs a small program, about 5 MB, on one computer in your warehouse. It talks to your print station and your dimensioner on your own network and passes readings to the robot. It is not a cookie, it does not live in your browser, and it does not watch what anyone browses. You can uninstall it from that computer at any time.
7. The banner
If and when analytics is added, the banner will say exactly this:
Cookies. We use one cookie to keep you logged in — that one is required. We would also like to measure which pages get read, so we know what to fix. That one is your choice.
Only what’s required · Allow measurement
Read our cookie policy.
Both buttons look the same and are the same size. There is no pre-ticked box and no “accept” that is easier to press than “decline”. Until analytics exists, there is no banner, because a banner about nothing is theater.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this page whenever what we use changes, and the date at the top will tell you when. Questions go to hola@estibra.com, formal notices to legal@estibra.com.
